I graduated on Friday, December 19th of 2008 from the Art Institute of Charlotte with a certificate in Web Design. All but one project here was accomplished during my enrollment. While I would enjoy specializing in web design, I also like working with audio and video as well as print. Outside of work, my personal passion is music.
From the time I first started learning HTML around the age of 16, I have been a strong supporter of web standards. Specifically, the way browsers interpret and display elements. There has been great improvement since then, but there is still plenty of room for improvement.
As a web designer, I try to make my sites as cross-browser and cross-platform friendly as possible. I haven't perfected this, and I've found new obstacles with each site I've done. I believe that the Internet was created to share ideas around the world and that it should be accessible to everyone, regardless of what software or hardware they use.
In general, I try to have fun and enjoy my work because I find that I produce better results than if I am doing it solely for income.
I hope you enjoy my work and I thank you for visiting.
